world-in-handsLakeside ATL was founded and established in 2009 by Daryl W. Sheard through his leading by God and his passion to reach people for Jesus worldwide. At Lakeside we are concerned with even the“least of these” as stated in Matthew 25:40. We believe in showing our love through the actions we take, that’s why we get out there where the people are hurting! Love is not something we talk about – Love is what we do! We believe that once we have exited the church building, We Have Entered the Mission Field!

Helping Hurting People
Our Mission

“Serving Our Communities with Love and Action”

Love How We Act.

Matthew 22:37-40 reads:

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Serving What We Do.

Matthew 25:34-40 reads:

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Discipleship Why We Exist.

Matthew 28:19-20 reads:

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: {teach…: or, make disciples, or, Christians of all nations}
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
